Hey everyone,

I see there's been lots of discussion on the music local cats are making. For this blog, I'll post everything from every side of the state, as long as its sent to me. If you're not feeling something, tell us why. I don't mind the "anonymous" comments, as long as you give some constructive criticism instead of straight dissing cats.

There are some artists who do get their feelings hurt and want to fight if you don't like their music (which is mad unprofessional) so I understand why people would sign anonymous to stay away from any beef. But at least be constructive and help dudes out on how they can improve their music.

And for artists, if you have the balls to share your music, you better be prepared to find people who don't like it, plain and simple. It has nothing to do with hate. So if you're getting mad at dudes for saying they're not feeling your ish, you probably need to quit hip-hop, because it will never go away.

Anyway, on the local front Beatsource.com launched last week. It's like a hip-hop iTunes and they're giving away 10 free downloads. DJ Chonz and Francois Baptiste are both working for the website and they're looking to have more local artists sell their music on the site. If you want to get down, hit up Chonz at djchonz@beatsource.com.
