Shout and congrats to Frank E. for producing a T-Pain track. For those of you unaware about Frank E's hustle, just peep game. Yeah, "Please, Excuse My Hands" from Plies, that's #4 on 106 & Park? That was produced by Frank E. Check out his track for T-Pain.
Regardless if you like the song or not, you can't knock a Denver cat for getting out there. That's how you burn bridges. When someone is making moves like this, you build with them and peep game.
There are other cats here locally that are making similar moves as Frank E. but are staying in the background for the moment to see who they would actually try to bring up with them. And I know first hand, they're not going to mess with cats who go back and forth arguing with each other trying to get the last word in. Or come out disrespecting other artists for no rhyme or reason. Why would you want to work with a cat like that? They're looking artists who are serious about their music and don't get caught up in petty he say/she say arguments about the scene. Be the bigger cat and keep it moving and keep putting out hot music.
Regardless if you like T-Pain or not, if he asked you for one of your beats or a hot 16, you would probably do it.
Anyway, here's some music
"Slap Music" - Nyke Nitti (aka Nyke Loc)
"I'm a Rapper, He a M.C." - Julox feat. Addverse
"What Death Becomez" - D-A-Dubb and DmentD

Never heard of this Frank E kid...thats whats up...the producers out here are miles away from the Rappers IMO....figured a producer would blow way before an MC
My nigguh Nyke....damn....this shit is old...that Slap Music was slappin in my whip back in like 06...Shout out to Julox I see you!
cant play the vid its my computer but Ill check it out when I get home
Yeah big up to Frank E aka RED HOT BEATS for producing the T-Pain track, also the Plies track and the Flo-Rida track (You and Me) I remember when I first met him through DJ Psycho and heard some of his music and now to see him get so many placements (trust he got some more big ones coming) I even got a track from him.
Some folks will still hate but hey that's part of this game what can you do?
dope shit, keep it popin co one day..........one day.....
OK....so for the sake of convo lets have something said.
Too many people on this board dont know these dudes so dont have some sort of personal comment to make.
Lets talk music (damn work is boring as hell today...)
Frank E/TPain
First off, congrats to a "box" head that is making something of his music.
TPain. The name suits. His music is terrible/painful...the whole vocoder thing shoulda been left to Zapp and Roger.
BUt oh well, the masses are sheep and are told whats dope...so he is dope, this leading to crazy record sales and FrankE getting paid.
The beat itself...I just dont know why he didnt take the thing he obviously sampled at the beginning and chop the fuck outta it.
Maybe he did but it gets lost in the keyboard sounds, which I have never been particularly fond of.
IT bangs tho...but its industry level so they got some major shit behind the boards with that.
NykeNitti
Man O Man.
I remember the first time I went in to a studio...it was where he recorded at one time...as there was posters all up on the wall.
Respect to a Capital D OG.
That said...I like this song way more than the Tpain joint.
The lyrics, the beat, the hook....shit should be a hit.
Too bad CO don't support CO artist that make hits that sound better than industry hits.
Slap 'Em Dog.
Julox/Addverse
You know...The beat is pretty nice.
Julox has one of those voices.
A couple of lines and such-not the strongest verse IMO, but its cool.
Addverse.
Well.
His voice is kinda annoying...to me. And for this song to be a "MC/Rapper" deal...the MC just didnt hit hard enough.
Using big words dont make you dope, thats been established.
Julox coulda ran with the song, done it like he was skitzo...with him being both the MC and the Rapper.
That woulda made a more interesting song IMO.
Didnt watch the video.

Frank E is in the studio as we speak in LA with T.I., Kid Rock, and Richie Muthaphucckin' Sambora (if you don't respect the man who wifed Heather Locklear you are the definition of a hater) working on what might be T.I.'s next single - a hip-hop version of the Bon Jovi "Wanted Dead Or Alive" track...all I can say is that I'm really really proud of my man Justin, he works as hard or harder than anyone I know and he deserves every last bit of recognition that he gets! Get on board or get left behind...
